Loopmasters expands DJ Mixtools series with three new titles

The DJ Mixtools from Loopmasters is not your ordinary series of loop CDs/packs. It’s a concept that Loopmasters have introduced last year for the forward-thinking DJ and live artist. Imagine buying a track but then being able to separate that track into its key elements and having ROYALTY FREE access to remix, effect, chop and loop the parts in your own individual style to create an exciting and refreshing new mix… Already 13 Mixtools packs have been released till now in various dance genres. John Bowen posted on the Matrixsynth blogspot about a new 8-voice all analog synthesizer showing up at the EMC/Moog Booth (which they share with the Solaris, Muse, Spektralis and Mellotron guys). It has 107 knobs, 7 filters, 4 Oscillators and a digital memory for storing presets. It’s a heavy one weighing 55 kilos. We decided we would take a look at this ‘beast’.
