MakeProAudio announces Dino Park Modelling Synthesizer DIY MakeKit

MakeProAudio announces the best sounding DYI maker board kit ever. Makers: tinkerers, DIYers, hobbyists, synth loving musicians and audio anarchists can own three revered analog classics in an affordable, high-end modeling synthesizer MakeKit. The legendary CreamWare modelling emulations, unparalleled in quality available in a new exciting and accessible form.

CreamWare set the standard for analogy modelling and emulation in the late 90s with its pristine sound quality and meticulous sound replication of the most revered analog classic synths. You can own the super-phat Minimax, punchy Prodyssey and uber-expressive Pro12. Now all in an ergonomic responsive hardware “MPA block” form factor. Future proof with the capacity to store up to 32 plugins in on-board memory.

“I noticed people paying collector’s prices to get their hands on retro early 2000s CreamWare modeling synthesizers. I was struck by the conversations in that people were willing to pay a premium for our modelling technology, simply because they hadn’t seen anything like it since” said, Frank Hund serial entrepreneur, Founder/CEO of MakeProAudio. “That was the impetus to make our unique technology available again in a new, exciting and more accessible form, he added.”

How it works
Like all MPA MakeKit offerings, you choose the pre-constructed components (electronics and mechanical) Tile modules that are shipped to you along with all the housing and connectors you need to make MPA blocks. The Dino Park MakeKit is available in three versions:

  • The Dino Board – ideal for hard-core makers that want to integrate in their own housing or cigar box for that matter providing for an inexpensive and fun project.
  • Dino Park MakeKit – includes the Dino board, LCD Display, slim housing and power supply.

The Dino Park EX MakeKit – includes, Dino board, LCD Display, expanded housing (height & length), power supply, and another connection assembly providing two TRS analog In/out, SPDIF I/O and MIDI in/out

Each Dino Park can be expanded with Dino Dial Encoders: eight touch-sensitive endless encoders that also provide push function. Perfect for setting eight important parameters, saving eight plug-in/preset combinations and quickly recalling sounds during a performance.

The first individual Maker boards and all-in box-MakeKits are to ship June 2019. Early bird pricing is being offered through April 30, 2019 exclusively at the MakeProAudio online store.
