Waves releases Hybrid Line of plugins

Gearjunkies MusikMesse 2009 Roundup
The MusikMesse show is over again, and we’ve spent some quality time in Frankfurt with all the gear lined up ready to play around with. This year’s show was different though, some major players decided not to show and you had to look a bit better to find out what was going on, but there was plenty of new and cool gear to see! Here’s an overview of what we thought was the coolest new gear around.
Lexicon introduces I-ONIX Series USB recording interfaces
Lexicon introduced its new I·ONIX U22, U42S, and U82S USB Desktop Recording Interfaces. The I·ONIX Series offers the highest quality hardware and software to provide the user with exceptional recordings. Each model provides all the necessary tools to transform a computer into a professional 24-bit digital recording studio including the USB 2.0 desktop recording interface, Steinberg Cubase LE4 multi-track PC and Mac recording software, Toontrack EZdrummer Lite virtual instrument software, and the new Lexicon Pantheon II VST/AU reverb plug-in.
SM Pro Audio announces V-Rack
Talk about the next revolution…. the V is back! Based around the recently developed “Powered by VFX” hardware platform, VST and VSTi plug-ins can be loaded directly into SM Pro Audio’s new V-Rack. The V-Rack is a powerful and unique product designed to provide musicians, engineers, producers, and guitarists performance products they can rely on. The new V-Rack offers VST/VSTi plug-in compatibility in a stand-alone hardware unit without the need for a standard PC/Mac computer!

BIAS Master Perfection Suite seperate plugins available
BIAS announced today that all six professional audio processing plug-ins from the Master Perfection Suite, will also be available separately as retail editions. The Master Perfection Suite is aimed at musicians, recording and mastering engineers, audio and video editors, sound designers and other audio professionals. These value packed plug-ins include: Repli-Q (spectral matching), PitchCraft (pitch correction/manipulation), Reveal (analysis), Sqweez-3 & -5 (multi-band dynamic processing), SuperFreq (paragraphic EQ), and GateEx (gate/expander).
AudioDamage Pulse Modulator for Free
Audio Damage have released another free plugin for you to grab at the freebies page in the AD store. It is a copy of PulseModulator, the plug-in they made for Computer Music magazine’s cover disk about three years ago.

Closer look at the new Denon DN-X1700
Denon announced their new flagship mixer DN-X1700 this week in Frankfurt. We got a few moments to take some pictures. The new mixer will be available in the summer with a price of around 1500 Euros, according to a Denon representative.
