Teenage Engineering OP-1 Display Test
Yesterday we introduced you to the OP-1. A combination between a controller and a synth, at this moment in full development by Teenage Engineering. The video below shows the display development test. According to Teenage Engineering themselves: “This is how the display will look like on the OP. It’s got extremely high PPI, the contrast is crazy, and according to myself, the gfx is bananas!” Watching the video we think they aren’t far off.
Introducing the OP-1 Synth and controller
OP-1 stands for Operator 1: The OP-1 is a pocket size controller for your favorite software sequencer. Connect it to your laptop and it lets you control your sequencers transport with the common play, stop, rec, forward and rewind. Use it to control your software synthesizers with the 4 rotary encoders and 16 dedicated quick keys for fast selections.

Clavia releases Nord Electro 3 OS version 2.02
The Nord Electro 3 OS has been updated to version 2.02. This update contains a few bug fixes – the “what-happened-to-my-tonewheel-leakage?” and the “Farfisa clipping/good for fireworks” bugs have now been eradicated. A more significant result of the update is the compatibility with the new Nord Sound Manager application and its feature set.
Thermionic Culture introduces Little Bustard at MusikMesse
Thermionic Culture have released the Little Bustard, their second valve summing mixer which has been designed to complement the Fat Bustard valve summing mixer by increasing the number of inputs channels. Or the new 19” 2u Little Bustard can be used independently by itself as a stand alone mixer.
Thermionic Culture Vulture Anniversary Limited Edition
To celebrate Thermionic Cultures 11th anniversary, Thermionic Culture have announced the Culture Vulture Anniversary Limited Edition. The Anniversay model will be based on the companies current standard Culture Vulture but it has far more radical possibilities, in particular for guitar and bass applications. The production will be limited to 80 units and will have the front panel finished in Thermionic red instead of black.

Voxengo updates FREE audio plug-ins
A set of free Voxengo professional audio plug-ins were updated. These plug-ins can be loaded into any audio host application that conforms to the VST or AudioUnit plug-in specification. Plug-ins are compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista (32- and 64-bit) and Mac OS X 10.4.11 and above (Intel and PowerPC) computers (2 GHz dual-core or faster processor with at least 1 GB of system RAM recommended).
