Project OP-X – Hardware Controller part 2

On this day (solstice) Mario Jurisch sends us a few pictures of his new project (in progress) the OP-X hardware controller. Just before the holidays begin the controller is ready for varnish. “Through the 4 octave keyboard, the controller looks more bigger then the impOSCar Controller. But I ´m happy with the finish look”, he says. Mario has still a lot of work ahead of him as you can see. Layout is all done but now “the details” have to be filled in so to speak.

Over the years, technology-assisted musical learning has become more and more accessible to an ever broader audience. This could not be more true in schools all around the world, where the integration of creative music technology is giving students even more ways to develop and express their ideas. The Ableton Summer Music Challenge is an attempt to support this cause by asking students to get creative with music over their summer vacations and perhaps help their school out in the process.
