Steinberg New Padshop Pro Available Now

This week Steinberg released the new Padshop Pro granular synthesizer. Padshop Pro offers extended capabilities that meet the demands of discerning sound designers. Steinberg first released a basic version of Padshop in February of this year with the larger Padshop Pro already planned for professionals to delve deeper into the possibilities of granular synthesis.

Something For The Weekend: Ko Matsushita RMX-1000 Demo

Last year we had a video in this section from Ko Matsushita where he used a Pioneer DJM-900, CDJ-2000, EFX-1000, Ableton Live, an iPad, Korg Kaossilator and Touch OSC to do a ‘mash-up’ of “Diabla (Metrik Remix)” by Funk D’ Void and “Flashback (Accapella)” by Calvin Harris. And now he returned with a new demonstration video but this time he uses the new Pioneer RMX-1000 FX controller to show his magic. We wanted to post this video as it is a simple hands-on video showing and, for us, seeing the little tricks and moves he makes to create a live mash-up.
