AAS unveils The Entangled Species Sound Bank for String Studio VS-1

Entangled Species is AAS’ second sound bank title for String Studio VS-1, and grants exclusive access to the beloved tools, inspirational encounters, and living sounds of composer David Kristian. The 128 presets covering arpeggiators, pads, loopers, synthesizers, keyboards, noises, and sound effects shall evolve as a natural extension of the sonic inventory of anyone into electro-acoustic, ambient, and film music arrangements. And with String Studio VS-1 behind the scene, users can easily transform them with just a few tweaks.

Five12 Numerology 2.2 Released

Five12 today announces the release of Numerology 2.2 for Mac OS X. New features in this release include a Pitch Glide feature for easily adding pitch bends to monophonic sequences, a speech synthesis option, and direct support for Volta from MOTU and SilentWay from ExpertSleepers. The Pitch Glide feature in Numerology’s MonoNote sequencing module allows you to easily add pitch bends to monophonic sequences. In addition to making it trivialy easy to build class acid basslines, Pitch Glide can be used for funk grooves, swirly synthesizer leads, extreme glissandos or just a little bend here and there.

Spectrasonics releases Omnisphere Version 1.1

On the heels of the release of their epic new Trilian(r) Total Bass Module virtual instrument, Spectrasonics has announced the release of version 1.1 of their award-winning Omnisphere(r) Power Synth – featuring native 64-bit Windows support, core library integration with Trilian and more. The new v1.1 is also Mac and Windows 32-bit compatible. For users who have both virtual instruments, sounds from Trilian can now be opened inside Omnisphere – allowing deeper editing of the Trilian sounds, as well as the creation of layers and splits with both instruments’ sounds in the same environment. The Omnisphere v1.1 update is free to all Omnisphere users as a download from the Spectrasonics website.

Linplug news and updates

Keeping products running has always been Linplug’s priority, and so they are on a number of updates to come up during the last weeks of the year. Windows 7 and Mac OSX 10.6 keeps them busy, but they are confident to manage it. Linplug thanks their customers for the feedback and helping them on fixing bugs.
