Bluecat Audio announces Protector limiter plugin

Bluecat Audio is happy to announce the release of Protector, a stereo brickwall limiter plugin in DirectX and VST formats for Windows. This new plugin offers very few controls and yet provides a large palette of sounds: from very transparent limiting to hard digital clipping or soft analogue saturation, it can be used as a master limiter, loudness maximizer or distortion unit.

TC-Helicon announces Harmony 4 update

TC-Helicon announced today a new version of the Harmony4 plug-in for Pro Tools|HD and TC’s PowerCore platform. This new updated version is now Universal Binary compatible and adds an array of doubling presets, including doubling presets that emulate overdub sounds as well as octave doubling.

Pianoteq update news

Version 2.3 offers an improved reverberation and is required for use of the Grimaldi add-on instrument. The upgrade is free to all customers. There is also a trial version with an evaluation period of 45 days. It is open for evaluation also to former trial users whose evaluation period expired.
