Introducing the Endeavour EVO Keyboard Controller

Introducing the Endeavour EVO Keyboard Controller

Something that popped up on our radar last week from a german company called Endeavour. A very stylish new keyboard controller called the Evo. It is a pure keyboard controller that is connected to a computer via an Ethernet interface, and that communicates via Midi, OSC or our own in-house protocol with synthesizers, sequencers or similar. The keys are the special feature here. Every single key is equipped with a sensor that allows evo to read the finger position on a certain area of the key surface. Thus, every key offers, in addition to pitch and velocity, an additional level of polyphonic data input that can be used for continuous control of independent notes.

Kemper Amps updates Profiling Amplifier software

Kemper Amps released the new version 1.5 for the Kemper Profiling Amplifier with the brand new CabDriver as one of the key features in Version 1.5. The Profiling Amp was originally designed to faithfully recreate the sound of a tube amplifier, the corresponding cabinet and the microphone in front of it. For recording or stage PA situations, this is the perfect solution for getting the full guitar amp sound reproduced. But the Profiler still needed a solution for playing through a standard guitar cabinet. The CabDriver feature now allows for doing exactly that! CabDriver retains the tube power amp characteristics and speaker action of the original amp, which is coded in the profile, and translates it perfectly to the speaker cabinet. No additional tweaking of the sounds required!

For us, Elektron is famous for not leaking any information before the official release date. And we expect that this time as well, so for now you can only listen to the new product and wait for any visual or detailed specifications information.
