This is one of those posts we rather wouldn’t have to write, but sadly we got some information that another gear company went into bankrupcy. According to the Austin, TX news paper the Statesman, on august 4 2010, all assets of Open Labs, Inc. consisting primarily of the patents, trademarks, copyrights, and other IP associated with the most Open Labs products will be sold at a public foreclosure sale.

New additions to the Moogfest line-up

MoogFest 2010, a three-day festival celebrating the innovative vision of sonic pioneer, Robert Moog, to be held in Asheville, NC, during Halloween weekend, October 29-31, is already dealing some tricks and treats. The announcement of the entire line-up and schedule has now been postponed to August 10th, with tickets now going on sale three days later, Friday the 13th!  But festival producers AC Entertainment have decided to dole out a treat as well by announcing that Big Boi, Jonsi, and Caribou, are among the many acts joining Massive Attack, Thievery Corporation, and MGMT on the bill for the weekend festival.
