Serato ITCH 2.2.1 for the Vestax VCI-380 Released

Serato have announced that an ITCH 2.2.1 update for the Vestax VCI-380 DJ Controller is available. The free update can be downloaded via the Serato website. The update of ITCH 2.2.1 has been a collaborative research & development effort between Serato and Vestax to provide new enhancements which are compatible with the long awaited Vestax VCI-380 controller, which is available for purchase today.

According to a message on their Facebook wall Serato is about to reveal more on the next version of their DJ software Serato Itch. Features that night be included in this new version could be FLAC support, video support, 4-deck support for more controllers, a sampler, compatibility with Serato’s The Bridge to allow DJing with Ableton Live within ITCH (like Serato Scratch), vertical centre waveform option (like Serato Scratch).

Today was a good day! Yes, the good people from TM Audio (dutch importer) send us a shiny Xone:DX controller to play with. It is always cool to unbox ‘new gear’. That’s what we live for (… amongst other activities of course).
