The Aleph is a a Linux-based open source sound computer designed and developth my Ezra Buchla and Brian Crabtree. It is a open scource device that you can transform in a synthesizer, sampler, drum computer, whatever you like or want it to be.
Arturia iMini (MiniMoog app) iOS 7 update
Arturia initiates iOS 7 support with their iMini iPad app update. The iMini V1.2 is an authentic recreation of the 1971-vintage Minimoog monosynth for Apple’s all- conquering iPad, as of September 26.
Camel Audio updates mobile Alchemy synth (iOS) to version 2.1.3
Camel Audio is happy to announce the release of Alchemy Mobile v2.1.3, which provides support for iOS 7 and Inter-App Audio.

Ethereal metal sounds with NI Kinetic Metal Kontakt Instrument
Native Instruments introduced KINETIC METAL, a new instrument for creating ethereal sound beds, shifting textures, and delicate, tonal percussion. KINETIC METAL combines creatively-sampled, unconventional metal objects with artificial waveforms and is aimed primarily at producers and sound designers seeking atmospheric textures, mallet-like lead sounds, and delicate percussion. Two large, easy-to-use modification wheels allow users to quickly manipulate the sound. An auto-motion feature allows producers to set one or both of these wheels turning on their own, giving them freedom to focus on performance. KINETIC METAL runs in KONTAKT 5 and the free KONTAKT 5 PLAYER.
New DAW products from Reloop – Keyfadr and Keypad

Focusrite RedNet Captures An Extraordinary Otello
2013 marks the bicentenary of the birth of Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi, and to honour the occasion, the Fondazione Teatro La Fenice decided to perform Verdi’s famous opera ‘Otello’ in the stunning outdoor environment of the 15th century courtyard of the Palazzo Ducale, in the heart of Venice. The event revived a tradition of presenting outdoor performances at the Ducal Palace that ran from 1949-67, and the work itself is a passionate tribute to the city.
