Black Lions long-awaited Sparrow ADC mk2 is now available for purchase! It is available in three separate models, each with a different color, price and performance quality. There is an obvious need for affordable, yet good-quality converters within the professional and project studio world. Certainly there are great two-channel systems available, but they are prohibitively expensive. Those that are within reach of the project studio’s budget usually suffer from the poor sonic qualities that plague mass-produced studio equipment. Black Lion have made it their mission to develop superior-quality, boutique audio equipment but at very “un-boutique,” affordable prices.
Antares announces ATG-6 Auto-Tune Technology for Guitar
Antares Audio Technologies has posted a web preview of their new ATG-6 Auto-Tune technology for guitar. The current preview provides an overview of the ATG-6 technology and focuses on its revolutionary Solid-Tune(TM) Intonation system. Future updates will focus on additional ATG-6 capabilities.
djDecks v1.00 released
djDecks has finally reached v1.00. This release is based on the djDecks DX version that has been in beta for quite a while now, so this means that it will also play video and karaoke, allow video effects, text overlays and picture slide shows. Besides that, the browser, playlist, autoplay and search features have been improved, the audio engine is more flexible (allowing you to mix multiple asio/directsound/wasapi devices) and controller support has been improved too (besides midi, HID and OSC are now also supported).
