Propellerheads Music Making Month Week Three
A pessimist would say that Music Making Month is half over. An optimist would say it’s only half begun. But a regular viewer to our events so far would say, “Don’t bother me with that. I’m busy making music!” This week in Music Making Month is one of our busiest and biggest yet, with some exciting new additions too.
Synth.nl – Interview with a classic Gearjunkie
Many, many years ago when we started Gearjunkies, we had to come up with a name. We wanted it to reflect the thought we had in our minds: the love for gear. Marc, Mark and myself (Eric) had a common love for electronic music but also the affection for the gear that made this music. That was when the name ‘Gearjunkies’ came into the picture and pretty soon we decided that this would be the name for our ‘project’: Gearjunkies!

Black Lion Audio Sparrow ADC mk2 Introduced
Black Lions long-awaited Sparrow ADC mk2 is now available for purchase! It is available in three separate models, each with a different color, price and performance quality. There is an obvious need for affordable, yet good-quality converters within the professional and project studio world. Certainly there are great two-channel systems available, but they are prohibitively expensive. Those that are within reach of the project studio’s budget usually suffer from the poor sonic qualities that plague mass-produced studio equipment. Black Lion have made it their mission to develop superior-quality, boutique audio equipment but at very “un-boutique,” affordable prices.

We decided to ask a few friends to join a compilation to help raise money. A few quickly became many as we were overwhelmed and warmed by the eagerness of these musicians to get involved.”
