180+ vintage keyboard sounds added in the Nord Sample Library
With a total of 181 new sounds in the Nord Sample Library, this addition gives a whole new perspective for the Nord Electro 3 and Wave users. With sounds from some of the most appreciated vintage synthesizers and string machines, even the hardcore analog fans will have plenty to choose from.
First Computer Platform for Guitar – Stringport
The StringPort very carefully processes, converts and conveys to the computer the polyphonic audio from industry-standard hexaphonic pickups (like the GK, Graph Tek, Zeta and RMC models) through high speed USB2. We have written custom drivers with extremely low latencies and all our applications take full advantage of multi-threading and multiple cores. High resolution (24bit) converters and impeccable design provide greater than 92 dB SNR from analog in to analog out.

Reforge – the Swiss army knife for audio on iPad
Reforge for iPad is the Swiss army knife for audio files on iPad. Edit the wave form directly just by touching it. Set selections to copy and paste within files or even paste from another file. Dynamically change volume for fade in effects or the remove unwanted clicks. Adjust stereo balance and set it to the far left channel for the beginning of the track continuously transferring over to the right channel for the end. Add stereo widening effects or bring it all to together to make is sound mono. Add high pass and low pass effects to start an intro, simulate a telephone conversation or just distort your sound.
Lexicon PSP42 & PSP 84 updated to version 1.6.0
PSP Audioware is pleased to inform that new versions of the Lexicon PSP42 (v. 1.6.0) and PSP 84 (v. 1.6.0) have been released. The update is free for registered users. Due to technical limitations newest version of the PSP 42 and 84 are available in the non ilok version only.

PreSonus announced that it is now shipping Studio One™ 1.5.1, the latest update to the company’s flagship music recording and production software. This is a free update for all registered users of Studio One Artist and Studio One Pro. To update their software, users should log into their PreSonus accounts and download the new version.

de la Mancha just announced that his plugins have been updated using SynthEdit version 1.1. This update eliminates any problems of multiple plugin instances with some multi-core CPUs. More details here.
The Acess Virus Vuvuzela Song Contest
Your mission is to write a song featuring either the Virus Vuvuzela patch or alternatively the Virus Vuvuzela samples provided by us. There are no restriction to the style of the song, we would like to encourage you though to use the Vuvuzela in a creative way. You will recognize that both the Vuvuzela sample and patches provided are not necessarily in tune which keeps things more authentic. In case you would like to alter the patches or samples, feel free to do so. Use what you have – this is a sound design contest after all. It is not advisable though to alter the content beyond recognition since the contest is about the Vuvuzela’s sound.
Sneak peak of FL Studio 9.5.

New Vermona synts arrived at Gearjunkies Holiday Lab
