New impulse responses for Altiverb
Audio Ease have released some spectacular impulse responses for your Altiverb this summer. As always, they are free downloads for all Altiverb Users. This release is an outdoor ir set: 19 new street samples were made at wide variety of locations at a moonlit business park near Audio Ease head quarters. You can download them as of today, right here.
Novation Launchpad – a closer look
Launchpad is a dedicated controller for Ableton Live, co-developed by Novation and Ableton. Perfect for DJing, performing live or working in the studio, Launchpad features a multi-color, 64-button grid, control modes for the Session View and Live’s mixer, two fully-programmable User Modes and dedicated scene-launch/function buttons. Despite the big grid, Launchpad is neat, compact and portable: 239 x 239 mm with a slim 24 mm profile and weighing only 717 g.
Interesting video of the Eigenharp
Recently we did a post on a strange up and coming product called the Eigenharp. Apart from some teaser videos there wasn’t much to tell you about. No details had been released yet. But now there have appeared a few videos on Youtube of this particular instrument. Sample Logic releases Morphestra

Imageline releases Sakura string instrument
Image line has released Sakura (v1.0.2), a string physical modelling instrument. It costs $99 and is available for Mac OS X and Windows in VST and AU instrument plug-in formats.
