New Roland Keyboard coming…
Roland will be introducing a new instrument on april 4th. Looking at the video it is fair to say, … a keyboard (duh)! There is a (Dutch) preview website where you can sign up for more information when it will be released on the 4th of april. Information that is available (details from the video) tells us it will be a member of the BK series and pretty much a 76 keys version. Other details are the drawbars and the USB option.
Interview with Depeche Mode programmer Christoffer Berg
If you don’t know yet, Depeche Mode is about to release a new album soon. Several websites and magazines have been reporting on it already. Some friends in Sweden (Teenage Engineering) have been talking to Christoffer Berg who did a lot of the programming for this new DM ‘Delta Machine’ album. With that many typical Nord red keyboards you see on live stages and in studio setups you may wonder how much they can improve on a 4th version of a keyboard player oriented board for playing organs, piano’s, EP’s and whatnot. Short version is that they made it better. Long version will take some explaining but first the most important bit, the sound.

Surprise, surprise. Thomas, you won the golden Minimoog Voyager!
The wait is over, a winner has been chosen! When Austin resident Thomas Echols was choosen at random to win the 10th Anniversary Minimoog Voyager Moog knew they had the opportunity to do something very special. In order to surprise Tom with the gift of a lifetime, they invited him to play a brief set in front of Switched On as part of their presence at SXSW this year. Grateful for the invite and happy to play, Tom had no idea just how amazing a day this would turn out to be for him.
Sasha talks Involv3r – Interview
Sasha is a DJ who almost needs no introduction, but we’re going to give him one anyway… A living legend to many and certainly a widely-acknowledged inspiration to a plethora of DJs all around thanks to his advanced skills, blending tracks together into one seamless composition and playing with keys and chords like no other DJ.
