Tritone recently released ColorTone, which is a Tone Box that simulates the signal path of analog devices through the use of convolution and various proprietary non-linear processes. ColorTone is designed to provide analog-like character and flavor to the modern digital audio workstation.
NI Kontakt 2 now available for Receptor
Muse Research has finally released the Receptor installer helper file for Native Instruments Kontakt 2. This PREP installer, which can be downloaded by registered Receptor owners via Plugorama, enables existing owners of Kontakt 2 to install it on their Receptor and authorize it using the standard NI registration tool.

Princeton Digital have announced a VST implementation of its Plate 2016 reverb. The Plate 2016 is a recreation of the Eventide SP2016 Plate Reverb. Plate 2016 has been available for Pro Tools and become a favorite production tool for sculpting drum and guitar sounds.
AudioRealism announces BassLine PRO
The Pro version is intended to take what ABL is good at and extend on that to reach new sonic possibilities but with the same feeling. Extended range on oscillators and filters (which now goes up to self oscillation). Audio rate modulation is possible on the excellent filter and oscillators which can be swept from bass up to treble ceiling while retaining low aliasing and without any other digital artifacts. The slave (audio) oscillators can be tuned +/- 48 semitones with 1 cents accuracy from master oscillator. This range aids in making sweeps that feel unconfined and lets your music breath. The modulation generator can be used as a third oscillator while routed to multiple destinations. A stereo delay unit with modulatable delay times will aid you in making interesting and atmospheric sounds.
