The Endauvour evo is a midi keyboard with something special! The keys have built-in sensors which makes them touch and pressure sensitive. No doubt that this makes things pretty interesting. More information will be revealed soon by the new company.
Finally I found something nice for another “Something For The Weekend” post again. Thanks to the Dave Smith Twitter feed I came across this really nice video of rozz3r doing a live ‘electronica’ jam. Watching and listening to “Waiting for a storm” I remembered why we originally started Gearjunkies. The love for analog gear (back in the day!). I love this because in this world where more and more is being replaced with software, there’s still time for some real fun.

Once in a while it takes a bunch of courageous people to come up with something completely different even though it doesn’t seem viable. The OP-1 is just such a thing. Looking like a toy and not like an instrument yet if you take a closer look it actually is. At first it reminded me of the Casio synths that were quite popular a century ago.
