Teenage Engineering OP-1 Update Announced
Over the years Teenage Engineering have regularly been putting out OS updates for the OP-1, adding new features and functionality, as well as improving things as much as possible. In the past this has been a very secretive process and nothing has been disclosed beforehand. This week they are happy to let you all in on three brand new upcoming features for the OP-1.

Livid and Dubspot collaboration: DS-1 Controller
Alongside all that NAMM news this week, there came this quite interesting news out of New York, where Dubspot announced a collaboration with Livid Instruments. The two companies have developed a ‘special’ Midi controller/mixer. The DS1 MIDI Mixer is a portable solution for computer-based mixing, production and performance, constructed with only the highest-quality parts and materials.
Yamaha adds ‘white color’ option to HS Monitor Series
Yamaha introduces new white-colored models of the HS Series powered studio monitors that have already established a favorable reputation for their accuracy and signature sound since their release last year. Three white-colored models of the 5″ HS5, 6.5″ HS7 and 8″ HS8 provide users with a broader selection of monitors that adapts to a wider variety of music production environments and aesthetics.
SSL to endorse SL4000E model in Softube Console 1
This week Softube does not only announce an official release date for the much anticipated next generation mixer Console 1, which will be in stores February 12. But it is also our great pleasure to announce that Console 1 will include Softube’s new model of one of the world’s most classic mixing consoles, Solid State Logic SL4000E.
