UVI releases UVX-3P Virtual Vintage Synth
In 1983, Roland introduced one of the first affordable analog synths, the JX-3P. The JX-3P signaled a shift away from control dense synths like the JUNO and JUPITER series for a less intimidating, more entry-level aesthetic aimed at players who wanted the Roland sound without being distracted by a slew of controls. Now UVI introduces UVX-3P, a superb instrument inspired by the Roland JX-3P, at an outstanding price, $79 (introductory price, instead of $99).

Steinberg have announced that you can now try out the Cubase 7 advanced music production system with the free trial version available for download. Cubase 7 Trial is a 30-day trial version, available from the Steinberg website and comprises all the features available in Cubase 7, the award-winning digital audio workstation released in December 2012. It requires the USB-eLicenser dongle.

Today Arturia released an app version of the Moog Minimoog called the iMini. This app is an an authentic recreation of the all-time classic Minimoog monosynth. The Arturia app is now available at Apple’s App Store.

A lightweight version of Neo-Soul Keys with all three electric pianos: Mark I Suitcase, Mark I Stage, and 200A Wurli. The library comes with the sustain samples and two release notes which consist of the actual mechanical and tine release noises.
Native Instruments starts teasing new synth
Native Instruments have started teasing us with a video and sound demos of a new instrument. Of course not much information is available. The only thing we could find out is that it isn’t anything hardware. It is a software synth. Native Instruments say: One synth to rule them all. Modestep have been re-writing the live music rulebook across Europe, introducing a new wave of ‘Dubstep‘ and ‘Electronic-Rock Fusion‘ to the masses.
