Eowave Ribbon – Not just a ribbon controller
Ribbon has a real sound generation section with one oscillator. The sound will be triggered by the position on the 4 octaves ribbon. The ribbon serigraphy offers a chromatic scale of the 4 octaves. Ribbon is also sensitive to the pressure. Pressure will determine the volume. A tactile tile is dedicated to the effects modulation.

Yamaha TNR-i – Tenori app for iOs
The iOS version of the world-renowned TENORI-ON brings you a completely new musical interface. Even if you don’t know much about music, you can create music intuitively as if you were arranging sounds in space. The music that you see on the 16 × 16 grid of buttons is the music that is performed. On the 16 × 16 grid of buttons, basically, the horizontal direction is time, and the vertical direction is pitch. By laying sounds on these buttons, you can combine rhythms and melodies to produce music. A button will glow when its sound is produced. The movements of the glowing lights produce a visual performance.

Even though their name is … well … very generic, these guys are from, next to PSP who create top notch plug-ins, another Polish company who release quality products. In this case the Limiter/Compressor called Preceptor model-A which is a bit different to the model-T. Made me wonder why you could have any color as long as it was black. The difference between model-A and model-T is that model-T comes with an extra action option which also may suggest that the model-T is the MkII of the model-A.

This weekend we have something pretty cool. Last week we had a give-away for the LiveRemote app from iXimix. The winner of the iPad app was Aldo Aréchar. He was so kind to make a video while using it in a project. We thought ‘wow, cool’! The result is actually far better then we imagined. We love it…!
Native Instruments and Mac OS X 10.7 compatibility
