Access TIOS 3.1.0.0 has been released
Access is happy to announce the availability of OS 3.1.0.0 for the entire Virus TI range of synthesizers. The new version is based on the recent public beta builds and focuses on stability enhancements. Access recommend every user to update their Virus TI synthesizers. The software update itself as well as a detailed list of changes and additions can be found within the download section.
Scarbee Pre-Bass – New Kontakt Powered software instrument
Native Instruments today introduced SCARBEE PRE-BASS, a new software instrument that provides a meticulous, highly musical rendition of the iconic Fender Precision bass. PRE-BASS is derived from the acclaimed Scarbee Blue Bass library, and the first release in the recently established development partnership between sampling expert Thomas Hansen Skarbye and Native Instruments.

Sonic Charge Synplant 1.0.1 and new patches available
It has been a bit quiet at Sonic Charge lately, but rest assure that it only means that they were concentrating harder. A few new projects and upgrades are slowly taking shape on their assembly line. Meanwhile they have decided to release a minor maintenance upgrade for Synplant that addresses some important issues. The version number is 1.0.1 and it will not bring any new features to Synplant but focuses on improving stability and compatibility.

Wacom today announces the launch of nextbeat – an interface device aimed at professional DJs, that provides a new way of creating and performing music. nextbeat will initially be available in Japan and fourteen European markets from 25 September 2009.
New Sounds and Samples from Producer Loops
Ambient Glitch Volume 1 – This amazing collection features some of the darkest and most atmospheric loops and samples ever committed to a Sample Pack! It was produced by Jeff Rhodes who has been working as a professional sound designer and soundtrack producer for over a decade. “By using bit crushing techniques instead of just distortion,” he says, “plus ‘improper’ use of beat choppers to get a more lo-fi sound, and even learning to overuse compression as an effect, I was able to put together what you hear in this sample pack. Combining it all, along with some weird artefact-like percussion and some stuttery repeats, I was able to harness some of that elusive Glitch power.
Advanced Integration updates for Cubase 5, MR816 CSX/X and CC121
