Harmony Systems announced the worldwide availability of Delora lpTouch 2.0, a major upgrade to their iOS app that functions as a remote controller for the Apple Logic Pro OS X application. lpTouch 2.0 now offers controller functionality for use on the iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. All that’s needed is a working Wi-Fi connection between the Mac and iDevice.
The Clipper is a compact, portable and programmable LED-lit fingerboard that can remotely run an Ableton Live session. With 144 touch-sensitive buttons you can record and play a Live set in one area and perform guitar, bass, drums, add Live beat-repeats, whatever, in another area of the Lightboard.

London based producer James Reynolds has recently installed the Trinity master clock from Antelope Audio. The Trinity is Antelopes flag ship high definition master clock with a total of nine independent clocks employing Antelope’s 4th Generation of Acoustically Focused Clocking with 64-bit Digital Signal Processing (DSP) 3 of which are audio generators with up to 384kHz sample rate and +/- 200 cents varispeed.

Pretty soon after AKG released the K712 Pro they introduced to us the K612 Pro headphones. We had already a (very) short encounter with them at the MusikMesse, so having them for a longer period was nice. Just a few months ago we got the opportunity for doing an interview with the current CEO of Focusrite (and Novation) Phil Dudderidge. After doing some reasearch we found that mr. Dudderidge is quite a remarkable man. In his early years he worked as a sound engineer. For a while he was even the live sound engineer of Led Zeppelin. From here on his path lead to developing and customizing PA systems and live mixing consoles and eventually in founding Soundcraft. Short after Soundcraft got sold to Harmann Industries, mr. Dudderidge bought the assets of Focusrite from, initial founder, Rupert Neve. And that’s where this journey began.
