Steinberg CMC Controllers update soon to be available

Steinberg today announced a software update to version 1.1 for its CMC controllers. The CMC set of controllers comprise six units: the CMC-CH channel controller, CMC-FD fader controller, CMC-QC quick control unit, the CMC-PD pad controller, the CMC-TP transport controller and the CMC-AI controller with Advanced Integration capability. The controllers perfectly complement Steinberg’s highly acclaimed CC121 remote control unit.

Native Instruments announces Traktor Pro 2.5.

Together with the new F1 Kontrol DJ controller Native Instruments have also annouced the update 2.5 version for Traktor Pro. Version 2.5 introduces the innovative Remix Decks™, giving access to a powerful loop suite made up of 64 slots, each able to hold loops, one-shot samples or even tracks. DJs can control up to four Remix Decks at once and save their work as an entire Remix Set with its respective beat grids, BPM and key information in a new file format that can be comfortably imported into a track deck via TRAKTOR’s browser.
