New Loopmasters Concept starts with Guy J – Transitions EP

A few years ago Loopmasters started a new concept in the market of traditional ‘Loop and Sample’ packs with their DJ Mixtools series. With each DJ Mixtools release you got the complete stems of four EDM tracks for you to use in your live sets. Each track came with seperate stems for drums, synths, percussion, bass, etc. This way you had ample opportunity to spice up your sets or even do live remixes. This week Loopmasters presented a follow-up on this concept with the Artists EP series. Each edition of this series is a full blown Artist EP released together with all the loops, hits and stems used to create it. First in this series is Guy J with his ‘Transitions EP‘, which is a beautiful collection of four deep hypnotic House and EDM tracks together with all the associated sample used in the production of them.

Zomo MC-1000 DJ Controller – Gearjunkies Review

It has the width of a 12″ club mixer, like for example a Pioneer DJM-850/900. Furthermore it is clear that the Zomo ‘borrowed’ some design features of Pioneer mixers.

We thought this to be the perfect project for our newest (part-time) team member Dave van Gorp. An enthusiastic gear lover (aren’t we all?) with over 15 years of experience with all types of DJ gear and DJing. Read what he has to say about the Reloop Terminal Mix 4.

Synth-Project Diva Controller on Video

Last week we showed you the excellent work of Mario Jurisch (Synth-Project.de) on a custom controller for the u-he Diva soft synth. Now Mario send us a video of this controller in action. Inside the controller there are 2 Doepfer USB64 Midi Interfaces, one special Wheel Electronic for Pitch and Mod Wheel and the MKE Electronic for the 4 octave Fatar keyboard with velocity. The DIVA Controller has about 90 knobs and 25 switches.
