The new OS v2.10 is an extensive update that in addition to fixing some bugs adds several new amazing features to the Nord Drum 2. One great addition is the support for the new Nord Drum 2 Manager software for Mac/Win that makes it easy to transfer sounds.

Flux this week announced the release of the AAX Native and 64-bit compatible version of IRCAM HEar – Binaural encoder and IRCAM Verb Session – Algorithmic session reverberation processor, built on our new Version 3 (v3) framework.
Yesterday we were able to show you the first images and video of FabFilter‘s newest product, a multiband compressor. Today FabFilter made it all public by releasing the Pro-MB compressor available for purchase through their website. With Pro-MB Fabfilter makes multiband dynamics processing intuitive yet powerful at the same time.
FXpansion’s Tres is a monosynth Rack Extension for Reason featuring DCAM circuit-modelling technology and advanced TransMod modulation. This time on the testbench, Volfram, a multi effects plugin by a relatively young company called Subsonic Labs. Volfram is capable of a wide range of different fx like: Chorus, Delay, Distortion, Filter, Flanger, Phaser and more. With a clearly laid out GUI it doesn’t take a lot of time to get on a roll with this beauty.
FabFilter have just unveiled their new plugin which is a multiband compressor. FabFilter Pro-MB is a powerful yet intuitive multiband dynamics plug-in. This new plugin will be available tomorrow, 17th october, in the FabFilter shop.

Allthough Abbey Road this week announced several plugins that are being discontinued, they will still be working together with partners on other audio software. One example of this is the unveiled J37 Tape Saturation plugin they have developed with Waves. This tape saturation plugin is, a precision model of the very machine used to record many of the greatest masterpieces in modern music.
Serato Pitch ‘n Time Pro 3.0 for Avid Pro Tools and Pitch ‘n Time LE 3.0 for Pro Tools and Apple Logic Pro are now available and are the latest updates for our professional time stretching and pitch shifting plug-ins. Support is added for Avid Pro Tools 10 / 11 users as well as Apple Logic Pro X for Pitch ‘n Time LE, alongside an updated user interface and some minor feature additions.
As of October 2013, Abbey Road have discontinued the sale of the TG12413 Limiter, TG Mastering Pack and RS124 Compressor plugins. Existing customers with valid licences will be able to continue to use the plugins within compatible DAWs, however, there will be no further updates to the software.
