LinPlug released RM IV v4.1

LinPlug have released the v4.1 update for RM IV.



Changes:

* More than 2700 MIDI grooves, dedicated MIDI-browser with drag/drop to the host.

* 100 new drum kits.

* Support for Mac OSX 10.3.5.

* Single Pads can be saved, loaded, copied and pasted.

* Output configuration can be changed on the fly with Live 4.



The downloadable version is available now with the CD version due on 22nd September. This update costs 25 USD / 20 EUR, but anyone that purchased RM IV after August 1st will get it free.

M-Audio releases driver update (OS-X) for Transit

M-Audio released an update to version 1.5.9 of the driver for its Transit small audio interface (Mac 10.3 (Panther), MacOS 10.2 (Jaguar)).
This update fixes bugs:
– fixed a problem that could cause a system hang when a Powerbook is put to sleep with the Transit active,
– fixed a problem that caused the Transit to report to CoreAudio that it supported AC-3 when AC-3 mode was not selected in the preference pane,
– fixed problem that caused a memory leak when the Transit was unplugged.
