New Plug-Ins for UAD Platform and Apollo Audio Interfaces
Universal Audio have this week released two new ’emulation’ plug-ins for the UAD software platform and Apollo audio interfaces. In partnership with direct developer Brainworx, Universal Audio have added the Maag EQ4 Plug-In. Also added to the UAD software is the Fairchild Tube Limiter Plug-In Collection.
Serato DJ 1.5.2. Available Now – New FX and more controller support
Serato DJ 1.5.2 – The latest update for Serato DJ includes brand new FX powered by iZotope for Serato’s new FX Expansion Packs. Scrollable FX drop-down menus, support for the Vestax VCI-100 MKII, Numark MixDeck Quad and the brand new Pioneer DDJ-SB Serato DJ Intro controllers and a healthy dose of maintenance / bug fixes for continued stability and performance.
Producertech – Drumming for Dance Music (EDM) with Paul Kodish
This brand new course from Producertech teaches how to play killer beats for a number of dance music styles, including drum and bass, dubstep, hip hop, house and breakbeat. Led by Paul Kodish, a professional drummer with more than 25 years of experience playing for headline bands like Pendulum, DJ Fresh and Apollo 440, the lessons go from starting out with the kit, right through to advanced techniques and jamming. In addition to the streamed lesson movies, the course comes with a series of downloadable packs, with readymade sessions for music software, drum loops and backing tracks in a variety of formats and a load of additional Loopmasters samples for playing along too as well.
Native Instruments Maschine Studio – Closer Look
With Maschine Studio Native Instrumenst truly made the Maschine even better, a lot. Pioneer NXS line up continues with CDJ-900NXS Mediaplayer
As was to be expected (sooner), today Pioneer released the follow-up of their CDJ-900 mediaplayer. Like it’s bigger brother this mediaplayer will now be available as ‘NEXUS’ version. The NXS line-up continues with the addition of the CDJ-900NXS digital player. The latest player builds on the success of its predecessor, the CDJ-900, plus it’s packed with new technology including a full colour LCD screen, Beat Divide, four-deck Beat Sync and the ability to play sets from a smartphone.
Cross-Platform Support with Zynaptiq PITCHMAP 1.5
Zynaptiq announced the immediate availability of PITCHMAP 1.5, the latest edition of their real-time polyphonic pitch-mapping and pitchcorrection plug-in. This free update adds support for VST, RTAS and AAX Native on both Mac and Windows platforms, as well as many enhancements and fixes, and is available now.
