ROLI wins SXSW Music Accelerator for Seaboard Grand
The world’s best music technology innovators gathered at the SXSW Music Accelerator in Austin, Texas today to unveil their most ambitious new products. Among them was design-led technology startup ROLI, announced today as the 2013 Music Accelerator winner for its Seaboard GRAND.

Electro-Harmonix Epitome Multi-Effect – Video
The great tone alchemist, Bill Ruppert, has created another great demo video featuring the brand new Electro-Harmonix Epitome Multi-Effect. Bill’s video highlights the standard and extended features of the Epitome, which is comprised of the now classic Micro POG Octave Generator, Stereo Electric Mistress Chorus Flanger, and the Holy Grail Plus Reverb. These Effects are further expanded by the new Shimmer feature which reroutes the signal chain and must be heard to be believed.

Something For The Weekend: DJ Kypski & $jammie The Money Present The Clocktave
The Clocktave is a scratch tool to make music with. It is based on just one concept: the Clocktave. A Clocktave (Clock-Octave) is a note scale to scratch with, ranging from 1 to 4 octaves. The notes of the octaves are divided between exactly one rotation of the record. Every note of the scale appears at the same position over and over, regardless of which octave you are in.
Gayle San adopts Allen & Heath Xone:DB4
Renowned techno DJ and producer, Gayle San, has adopted the Xone:DB4 as her mixer of choice for touring and production work. Gayle San started DJing 18 years ago with vinyl, then progressed to CDs, and most recently her set up is digital, originally based around the Xone:4D and now the new Xone:DB4 mixer and Xone:K2 controller.
