Marshall Monitor Headphone announced
The Marshall Monitor embodies the power and strength that is Marshall in a headphone with its Hi-Fi prowess and monster sound. Its slender over-ear construction delivers superior noise isolation without the bulk. The Monitor is embossed with a white script logo and black vinyl leather, evoking the spirit of those legendary vintage amps, while the heavy-duty metal hinges, brass accents and plug make it full-out roadworthy. The completely detachable double-ended coil cord with mic and remote can be worn on either the right or left side. The extra 3.5mm socket allows users to share music. When users are done, fold them up and stow them away in the canvas carrying pouch.

RODE iXY microphone for iPhone and iPad Introduced
Australian-based audio company RØDE Microphones has announced the iXY, a stereo microphone for iPhone and iPad with 30-pin connector that allows high quality recording at sampling rates up to 24-bit/96kHz, the only microphone on the market to do so. Appearing at the International CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas for the first time, the company has unveiled the innovative device to an expected audience of over 150,000 visitors.
MIDI Turns 30 at the 2013 NAMM Show
30 years ago at the 1983 Winter National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) trade show, a Roland JX-3P talked to a Sequential Circuits Prophet 600 and Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) went mainstream. The MIDI Manufacturers Association (MMA) will kick off a yearlong “MIDI Makes Music” 30th Anniversary celebration at this year’s NAMM Show, with an exhibit showcasing the past, present and future of MIDI technology and an extensive traditional and social media presence showing how famous artists and musicians everywhere use MIDI to create and produce music.
Teenage Engineering introduces the OD-11 Cloud Speaker
Teenage Engineering have recently introduced the OD-11 cloud speaker. It is a re-designed, re-developed new version of the Carlsson OD-11 which was introduced in the mid 70s and became a very popular speaker for Hi-Fi systems. Teenage Engineering worked closely with the Carlsson Foundation for this new version.

RME Babyface Special Edition: Golden Phoenix
Without any confirmation of the accuracy of this news, RME would be announcing this Special Edition of their Babyface audio interface series. They would call it Golden Phoenix. Introduction will be at the coming NAMM show according to ‘rumours’ on the internet. Looking at another special edition, Babyface Snow, we expect that this Phoenix edition will have a limited production number as well. We can also expect that it will be fully identical to the standard blue and silver editions of the Babyface, all features and drivers are the same.
