RME Fireface UFX updated with revolutionary Direct USB Recording
RME upgrades the award-winning Fireface UFX with a new and revolutionary feature: an integrated recorder for all inputs and outputs directly to USB memory devices with up to 2 TB. Live concerts, band rehearsals or spontaneous jam sessions can be directly recorded and played back from the medium – plugged into the front of the interface – even completely stand-alone without computer or software. All 60 input and output channels can be individually chosen for recording.
RME presents special Babyface edition – The Ladyface
The Ladyface is custom-tailored for female artists and the Hi-Fi market. It shines with a solid aluminum case in a stylish color combination of glossy white and pink. RME shows Remote Control for Fireface UFX/ADI-8 QS
RME presents a new Remote Control for Fireface UFX and ADI-8 QS on the Musikmesse Frankfurt. The optional remote has a solid metal case with one big wheel dial and two push buttons. The functions of the ADI-8 QS stay unchanged (volume, store, recall). On the Fireface UFX the remote controls the most important monitoring functions.

Yamaha to introduce new Mobile Motifs at the MusikMesse
Yamaha will introduce a new series of ‘Mobile’ Motifs at the coming MusikMesse. The Yamaha moX 6 and moX 8 are continued development models of the current Motif series. These new moX workstations combine Motif technology with multichannel USB computer integration and bundled VSTi’s.
Synth-Project Alphatron SP Controller – The Perfect Duo
There is really no stopping this … dude! Mario Jurisch from Synth-Project has yet another hardware controller finished. It is a Alphatron SP Controller for the H.G.Fortunes VST Instrument. He has specially designed it for his 10″ Touchscreen. The case is a “rack” Version and it´s sitting on his first controller the Pure-MCone.

RME BOB-16 break-out boxes now shipping
RME starts shipping three different BOB-16 breakout boxes – perfect rack solutions for interconnecting multichannel XLRs with the common D-sub connector format. The BOB-16 connects up to 16 XLR inputs and/or 16 XLR outputs (Neutrik connectors) with two D-sub 25-pin connectors. It works like two breakout cables D-Sub from/to XLR. The usual multicore breakout cables are replaced with a 19” rack mount unit, preventing cable chaos, errors and connection problems.

Access releases new Virus OS v.4.5.
Access Music released a public beta version of OS 4.5 for the entire Virus TI series including the Virus TI Snow. TIOS 4.5 brings several new types of chorus effect to the Virus TI series, ranging from faithful models of renowned vintage chorus and tremolo effects, to the brand new Hyper Chorus. It also adds a authentic rotary speaker simulation and several new mod matrix sources have been implemented.
