New Sounds and Samples on Sample Saturday
These are the releases we have encountered this week on the Loops and Samples front. Just like the quality of the audio software we use these days the quality of the content we use (loops and samples) equally matches the high standards of this software. Below is this weeks selection.
Sinevibes released Dynamo Gate Sequencer plugin
Sinevibes just released Dynamo, our long-awaited gate sequencer AudioUnit plugin. The sequencer offers up to 32 steps each with individual level and envelope shape, allowing you to construct modulation patterns of any complexity.
Native Instruments Maschine 1.6 public beta available
The public beta test for the upcoming Maschine 1.6 update has started. If you are a Maschine owner, you can download a fully functional 1.6 beta version, and submit eventual bug findings to the Maschine team over a special “bug tracker” web page. The public beta version has already been tested extensively by our internal testing team, but for general reasons it should still be used with caution in performance-critical environments.
New updates for Steinberg MR816 Audio Interfaces available
Steinberg has just released driver updates for the MR816 audio interfaces. This version of “TOOLS for MR” is not compatible with Cubase version 4.x as the Link features are not supported anymore! All Cubase version 4 users, please use “TOOLS for MR” version 1.6.0 which can be found at the bottom of this page.

Hoerboard Scomber Mix – For the Design Conscious DJ
The hoerboard Scomber Mix is designed to make all your turntables, CD-players and mixers fit perfectly into a great looking workstation. The DJ booth consists of two units, needs less space than the hoerboard Classic and makes you more mobile with your own personal workstation. The top deck is made from CNC-designed MDF material and is fixed to a laser-cut powder-coated steel support. Both unit surfaces are available in several glossy or matt colours. Your own equipment is being placed in the customized high quality hoerboard.
