Beauty on the iPad – Jonas Eriksson Synthesizer 76
Doesn’t this look so freakin’ awesome? Wow, … well that’s what you get when you are a (brilliant) designer with a strong love for retro vintage synthesizers. As far as I have understood this is (only) a Design and Concept for the 76 Synthesizer iPad Application. This ‘concept’ originated in the brain of Jonas Eriksson, an award winning Designer / Developer who is currently located in Sweden and Los Angeles, USA.
DAW Control with Eyosido eyoControl iPad app
Taking full advantage of the new midi features of the recently released iOS 4.2 Eyosido Software released their eyoControl app for the iPad. eyoControl lets you control your Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) software from your iPad in various ways, such as a control surface or a virtual instrument. eyoControl communicates with your DAW through the dedicated eyoControl Server running on a laptop or desktop Mac computer. The eyoControl Server lets you connect multiple iPads running eyoControl to play virtual instruments alltogether on the same DAW. eyoControl supports most DAW software such as Logic, Cubase.

Hybrid MIDI Upgrades Available for Denon DJ Digital Turntables
Denon DJ has made free firmware updates available for its DN-S3700 and DN-S1200 digital media turntables that upgrade performance with a Hybrid MIDI mode. The updates – DN-S3700 v.2020, DN-S1200 v.3020 – are available to download from the Denon DJ website at www.denon.dj; from the relevant product pages.

More details on the coming Maschine 1.6 update
Past november NI announced they were working on the Maschine 1.6 update with the most important change, the new feature of hosting VST/AU plugins. A feature that has been requested by many users from the start. So with this coming 1.6 update you will allowed to use VST and AU plugins as sound sources and effects in your Maschine project. This includes both the whole NI range of instruments and effects as well as any third-party plugin.
