Only 15 days left till Dancefair, Netherlands

Only 15 days left till the biggest educational event in modern EDM. Dancefair will host over 150 seminars and workshops by Dutch and International DJs and producers, audio engineers, event organizers, and music labels. On the Expo floor manufacturers will present the latest products for visitors to check out and play with. Dancefair is an event not to be missed for anyone working or wanting to work in the electronic (dance) music industry.

Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol Z2 – Gearjunkies Review

Last year gave us a lot of new gear from Native Instruments, who have been introducing new controllers as well as releasing a major new version of their Traktor DJ software. Think Maschine Mk2, Kontrol F1 and Traktor 2.6, that introduced Flux Modus. The release of the latest Traktor software was combined with the introduction of Native Instruments’ DJ mixer, the Kontrol Z2. After absorbing the specs and the rumors, we were pretty curious about the Z2. After we received the Z2 in our lab we took it through some extensive testing. We wanted to find out, is the Kontrol Z2 more than just a 2-channel mixer?

Behringer announced the release of its much-anticipated CMD DJ controllers and an alliance with Image Line, the company behind such acclaimed producer software as Fruity Loops and Deckadance. The full-featured set of MIDI controllers consists of the CMD MM-1 Mixer Module, CMD DV-1 Digital Vinyl Control Module, LC-1 Live Control Module, CMD PL-1 Platter Control Module and the CMD DC-1 Drum Control, all of which will now come with IMAGE LINE’s Deckadance Software.
