IK Multimedia iRig KEYS Controller series Available Now
This week IK Multimedia introduced the first and only range of professional compact MIDI controllers for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Mac/PC. The iRig KEYS family of pro MIDI keyboard controllers includes iRig KEYS PRO and iRig KEYS with Lightning — both of which are designed for portability and playability. Each model has 37 velocity-sensitive keys (3 octaves plus 1), enough for comfortable two-handed playing.
Allen & Heath firmware update for Qu-16 available now

Benny Rietveld and his Radial FireFly light up Vegas Strip
Almost 24 years ago bassist Benny Rietveld ended his tenure with Miles Davis and made the move to join team Carlos Santana. At the time of the move it was unlikely Rietveld knew how Santana would reignite his own career, garner mass appeal on popular radio and clean up at the Grammys with the “Supernatural” project. Netherlands born, Hawaii raised Rietveld took a chance, put in almost a decade of commitment to Santana (prior to “Supernatural”) and now enjoys a career so diverse it satisfies his many and varied interests. He also serves as musical director for Santana.

MiniMoog Model D sounds for Animoog available now
Moog Music announced the release of “The Minimoog Model D Expansion Pack” for their award winning iOS synthesizer, Animoog. The expansion pack includes 69 Timbres extracted from a vintage Minimoog Model D analog synthesizer, and 213 presets designed exclusively for Animoog’s Anisotropic Synthesis Engine. Presets were crafted by a preeminent set of designers including Sound Creation Expert Kevin Lamb, Timbre Extraction and Design Pundit Drew Neumann, Synthesist Adam Holzman, DJ/Producer Dom Kane, and Sonic Mayhem’s Sascha Dikiciyan.
