AudioRealism announces BassLine PRO
The Pro version is intended to take what ABL is good at and extend on that to reach new sonic possibilities but with the same feeling. Extended range on oscillators and filters (which now goes up to self oscillation). Audio rate modulation is possible on the excellent filter and oscillators which can be swept from bass up to treble ceiling while retaining low aliasing and without any other digital artifacts. The slave (audio) oscillators can be tuned +/- 48 semitones with 1 cents accuracy from master oscillator. This range aids in making sweeps that feel unconfined and lets your music breath. The modulation generator can be used as a third oscillator while routed to multiple destinations. A stereo delay unit with modulatable delay times will aid you in making interesting and atmospheric sounds.

TC Electronics announces 2 new plug-ins for PowerCore
TC Electronic today announced two new PowerCore plug-ins with an innovative approach to the user interface. Fabrik R (reverb) and Fabrik C (channel EQ, de-esser, 3-band/full band compressor) both feature MINT, Meta Intuitive Navigation Technology, a design and programming philosophy that transcends traditional UI thinking.
Korg announces OASYS update
Korg has announced OASYS software version 1.10, which includes the first OASYS Expansion Instrument (EXi) update, the STR-1 Plucked String. The STR-1 represents an advancement in physical modeling, building on over a decade of Korgs research with new innovations exclusive to OASYS. This new OS also adds support for up to 2 GB of memory, as well as some new enhancements to the OASYS voice architecture.
Moog introduces new clothing and accessories
Introducing a look as hip as their sound, Moog Music recently announced a new clothing line that will be sold directly from their Web site. The first introductions to this line of clothing include a Moog track suite, a hip new hoody, as well as assorted accessories. Additional items will be added throughout the coming year.

More free stuff from Digidesign
Digidesign is pleased to announce the availability of Dynamics III, a free download and an exciting new addition to the free collection of DigiRack plug-ins included with all Digidesign Pro Tools and Avid picture systems. The Dynamics III plug-in suite includes a Compressor/Limiter, Expander/Gate, and De-Esser, each in an easy-to-use interface. Dynamics III offers simple ways to apply dynamics processing in mono, stereo, or a full range of surround formats.
Sony has created a musical game called Block Jam
Block Jam is a musical interface controlled by the arrangement of 25 tangible blocks. By arranging the blocks musical phrases and sequences are created, allowing multiple users to play and collaborate. The system takes advantage of both graphical and tangible user interfaces. Each block has a visual display and a combination of a gestural input and a click-able input. Each Block metaphorically contains a sound group that can be chosen via the gestural input, the click-able input changes a block functionally. Thus, musically complex and engaging configurations can be rapidly assembled. The tangible nature of the blocks and the intuitive interface promotes face-to-face collaboration, and the presence of the GUI allows for remote collaboration across a network.
MOTU updates Digital Performer to v.4.6.1.
DP 4.61 Updater is now available and shipping. If you own Version 4.5x or 4.6, you can download the free Version 4.61. This maintenance release includes numerous program enhancements and feature updates.
New Korg Workstation: the TR? (Update)
Did Korg paint its Triton LE black or is this a new workstation? Anyway, we found these pictures on the internet what looks like a new Korg Workstation, The TR. TR is also the name of the Triton rack, so we dont know if TR is the real name of this new workstation.

LiveLab releases LiveSlice 1.1
LiveLab has recently released an update for LiveSlice. This is a major update with tons of new features and important bugfixes. Two new banks of presets by The Outziders are included. The banks can be used both in the demo and full version. The 39.95 euro introduction offer is valid until 20 Nov.
