Seven Sound Packs are currently available, covering everything from dub to disco.
Pioneer DJM-2000 – Gearjunkies Review Part 2 – Video
In part one of our Pioneer DJM-2000 review we told you how much we loved this machine. For us it is the ‘missing link’ to the CDJ-2000. When you connect the DJM-2000 with the CDJ’s through the PRODJ protocol, these devices will function as one. The DJM is packed with so many features that anyone can use/create their own style on it. Our team member Wytse Gerichhausen, who wrote the review, took the DJM by the hand and made this cool video. He made this video as a visual overview of what this ‘baby’ can do. Particularly the effects and the use of the touchscreen of this mixer. …. It was a sad day at the office when we had to return this review unit!
Un-Official … The Moog Voyager XL
Yes here we go again. Another big companies new product has been leaked onto the internet. And because of that we are showing it to you! Moog will release an extended version of their Voyager synth. The Voyager XL would ship, according to many (unconfirmed) sources on the internet in november/december of this year.

Pioneer DJ unveils new HDJ-500 entry-level Headphones
The stylish new HDJ-500 entry level DJ headphones are the latest arrival to expand our headphone series. These new pair of headphones are designed specifically for DJs. Unlike previous models, it will be available in three distinct colours: red, black and white. The HDJ-500-R (Red) / HDJ-500-K (Black) will be in stores in November, with the HDJ-500-W (White) following in January 2011. bx_shredspread is a stereo processor to be used on any stereo guitar subgroup or stereo guitar channels. bx_shredspread’ s main purpose is to make sure your stereo (“doubled”) guitar signals sound “wide and phatt” – as easy and fast as possible. bx_shredspread is a tool to control panning, stereo width and the “tone” of your stereo guitar tracks / groups. It automatically avoids typical phase problems that can occur when using M/S technology via some sophisticated algorithms for stereo width, EQ and pan. Although mainly created for guitars bx_shredspread may also be used on keyboard groups, organs, choirs, etc.
Pianist Pro app now with MIDI Mobilizer support
One of the conclusions in the first part of our iPad article series was that the apps we tested and played with were cool and fun to play with. The only real issue was the midi/io function or better, the lack of! If music apps will play a part in studio environments, apps will have to be improved on this level! We don’t know if MooCowMusic has listened to us, but anyway, they have implemented the support for the Line6 Midi Mobilizer.
New Hardware from Deadmau5 – Wait! What?
So, Deadmau5 is getting into hardware nowadays? Well, unless this is a joke, according to his Facebook page he actually is. We know the videos were he is playing with his modular synths and is sharing his enthusiasm for “the modular world of synths”.
New videos on the Ohm Studio Collaboration Software
The Ohm Studio is evolving faster every day. In the past there were the brainstorms, then the different features specifications, then coding hundreds of independent modules, and now the guys at Ohm Force are finally putting all the pieces of the puzzle together. They’re in the process of implementing them one by one on the ever-evolving Ohm Studio’s graphic user interface. Not that they want to put you to sleep with this kind of techie blah blah, it is just their way of telling you thatthey are very excited about the iminent arrival of the Ohm Studio’s Beta Version, later this year!
