Kore released to the world
Native Instruments is excited to announce that KORE is now available in stores worldwide. KORE has been specifically developed to increase the efficiency, flexibility and ease of working with software instruments and effects in the studio and onstage. KORE is an integrated system consisting of a host software for VST and Audio Units plug-ins, and a tightly integrated hardware controller that includes a professional USB 2.0 audio/MIDI interface. It can be used both as a standalone instrument host as well as a plug-in within any Audio Units-, VST- and RTAS- compatible sequencer program. Due to the sophisticated bi-directional integration of the controller with the KORE software, all major functions of the system can be controlled without the need to touch or even see the computer that runs
the software.
Voxengo updates Marquis Compressor to v.1.4.
Voxengo has updated Marquis Compressor to version 1.4. This is a very small update: number of bands in compressors key filter section was increased to 4. Marquis Compressor is a PC VST plug-in that is suitable for both mixing and mastering. Marquis Compressor offers flexible means of control and is able to create a wide variety of sonic character.

Logic Pro updated to version 7.2.1.
Apple has updated Logic (Pro and Express) to v7.2.1. This is a maintenance release that addresses isolated reliability and compatibility issues.
Liveslice update to version 1.4.
LiveLab.dk releases version 1.4 of LiveSlice. The update features an improved look and feel, undo, keyboard shortcuts and much more. The upgrade is free and the price remains unaltered.
Meet KORE on the Kore Days World Tour
Under the title Kore Days World Tour, Native Instruments has initiated a tour at local distributors World Wide. The KORE Days kick off from May 8th at NIs top dealers worldwide. Each participating store will host an event in which KORE will be presented in detail by selected product specialists. All aspects of KORE will be covered, from creating new sounds and using the Sound Browser to using KORE in a sequencer or live on stage.
Crysonic releases Spectra Q
Crysonic today announced the release and availability of SPECTRA Q VST plug-in for PC windows host applications. SPECTRA Q provides the ability to adjust multi-octave harmonics within an intuitive multi-band environment in two modes. Additional to these feature SPECTRA Q incorporates a vintage inspired 10-band EQ, look ahead transparent loudness maximizing with smooth peak limiting (based on their upcoming crysonic SPECTRA’ PHY technology) and a 4-band low-frequency phase tweaking section.
Cycling74 releases UpMix
Cycling ’74, a San Francisco-based music software company, today released UpMix, a surround processing and mixing software package. UpMix has been developed and tested by a team of surround sound professionals and utilizes proprietary algorithms to convert stereo audio into an immersive 6-channel mix suitable for Film, DVD, HD Broadcast and Music surround formats.
Rayspace updated to version 2.3.

FabFilter releases updates for total productline
FabFilter Releases FabFilter Twin 1.11, Volcano 1.13 and One 3.04 with Intel Mac support. The new versions contain bug fixes as well as improvements and new features. The OS X versions of the plug-ins are now Universal Binaries that can be used on both PowerPC and Intel Macs.
The Sound Guy releases SFX Machine pro
The Sound Guy has announced the release of SFX Machine Pro 1.0, an audio multi-effects plug-in for Mac and Windows. SFX Machine Pro is the latest and most advanced entry in the award-winning SFX Machine family. It comes with over 300 effects, including more than 50 new effects. In addition, a modular Preset Editor allows users to create their own effects from scratch.
