Nektar Impact LX49 DAW Controller Available Early November
Nektar, the company behind the Panorama series of deep integration controller products, launched the Impact LX49. It is the first product in a new line of budget Nektar products, all offering integration with many of the most popular DAW Software Solutions. The 49 note velocity sensitive, full-size keyboard is fully featured with 9 faders, 9 control buttons, 8 pots, 6 transport buttons, 8 velocity sensitive pads, foot switch socket and control wheels. 5 user presets are designed for GM setups, “MIDI learn” capable DAWs and other music software.
Antares releases Auto-Tune 7 AAX Native Versions
Auto-Tune is used daily by thousands of audio professionals around the world. James Reynolds and the Antelope Trinity Master Clock
London based producer James Reynolds has recently installed the Trinity master clock from Antelope Audio. The Trinity is Antelopes flag ship high definition master clock with a total of nine independent clocks employing Antelope’s 4th Generation of Acoustically Focused Clocking with 64-bit Digital Signal Processing (DSP) 3 of which are audio generators with up to 384kHz sample rate and +/- 200 cents varispeed.

AKG K612 Pro Headphones – Gearjunkies Review
Pretty soon after AKG released the K712 Pro they introduced to us the K612 Pro headphones. We had already a (very) short encounter with them at the MusikMesse, so having them for a longer period was nice. Personally I was curious how they would perform because one of my first headphones were the good old trusty K240’s … many years ago.
