Behringer introduces new digital DJ controller lineup
At MusikMesse, Behringer shows a complete line-up of new DJ controllers. As they are not quite finished products yet, they do show the ideas of Behringer about digital DJ’ing. The lineup consists of both full controller decks as well as a series of components that each target a different level of control for the digital DJ.
KORG Expands the microKEY Family
Korg expands its microKEY USB Powered Keyboard and MIDI Controller family. The microKEY-37 is now joined by the highly portable microKEY-25 and the five-octave microKEY-61 for the studio musician. Veteran synthesizer designer Tom Oberheim announced a new type of synthesizer just today. This may sound as an Apple spoof but this new Tom Oberheim 2-voice is similar to the original from 1975, but with some very interesting upgrades.
Eowave presents their analog synth Magma at the Messe
The MAGMA is an analogue bassline synthesizer inspired by classical synths from the 1980s. It offers the possibility to mix 4 different waveforms (saw, square, sub, noise). The 24 dB low-pass filter is also inspired from classical filters from the 80s.

Steinberg CMC Controllers update soon to be available
Steinberg today announced a software update to version 1.1 for its CMC controllers. The CMC set of controllers comprise six units: the CMC-CH channel controller, CMC-FD fader controller, CMC-QC quick control unit, the CMC-PD pad controller, the CMC-TP transport controller and the CMC-AI controller with Advanced Integration capability. The controllers perfectly complement Steinberg’s highly acclaimed CC121 remote control unit.
