Melodyne uno is shipping
Celemony Software GmbH today announced immediate
availability of the audio editing software Melodyne uno for Windows XP and Mac OS X.
The brand new small version of the unique audio software Melodyne works in a similar
fashion to a sample editor – except that it offers the characteristic Melodyne
functions, making it the ideal tool for pitch correction, vocal production and the
editing of melodies.

Behringer released BCN44 midi controller
Behringer reports the availability of their new small midi controller B-CONTROL NANO BCN44. It is a super-compact universal MIDI controller whose miniscule size does not stop it from being a formidable contender for both studio and pure controller applications.

Native Instruments releases Absynth v3 update
THE ABSYNTH 3.0.2 UPDATE – New version providing numerous enhancements and new content. Registered ABSYNTH 3 users can now download the new 3.0.2 update for free.
Voxengo updates Lampthruster to v.2.2.
Lampthruster version 2.2 has been released and is now available for download. Lampthruster is a unique non-linear processing module (tube/valve amp simulator) coupled with a vintage-sounding equalizer. Lampthruster is currently available in PC VST plug-in format only.
Synthogy updates Ivory to v.1.0.5.
Synthogy updated the Audio Units version of Ivory to v1.0.5 and the RTAS version to v1.0.4. These new releases fix Mac OS X 10.4 and Logic 7.1 compatibility issues, Pro Tools 6.9.2 compatibility issues with RTAS version, and fix a MIDI volume issue. Ivory is a sample-based triple piano virtual instrument by Synthogy and produced by piano sound designer Joe Ierardi. Ivory features over 3,500 piano samples designed to recreate every nuance of three grand pianos: Steinway D 9′ Concert Grand, Bosendorfer 290 Imperial Grand and Yamaha C7 Grand.
Melodyne Uno updates to version 1.0.1.
Celemony posted an update to version 1.0.1 for its audio editing software Melodyne Uno, which adds minor improvements. This update is available for registered users only. Melodyne uno offers you the celebrated Melodyne technology in the most compact and affordable format. Melodyne uno dispenses with the multi-track Arrange window of the larger versions of Melodyne and operates like a normal sample editor.
ConcreteFX: product updates and new softsynth: Vectrik
Concretefx has released Vectrik, a new Windows VSTi vector sample synth which can create a variety of sounds, from rhythmical sequences to rich dynamics pads to thick leads and basses, etc.
PSP Audioware updates MasterQ (Mac OSx version)
PSP Audioware informed us that they updated the Mac OSX version of their award winning EQ plug-in PSP MasterQ to version 1.2.1. (free update for registered users). At the same time they officially ported it to AudioUnit and RTAS format. It means that PSP MasterQ can be used not only in any VST hosts such as Cubase or Nuendo but also in any AudioUnit hosts such as Logic, Digital Performer, GarageBand and in ProTools LE/ ProTools TDM systems which are hosts for RTAS plug-ins.
SampleRobot 1.14 now available
Skylife, the makers of SampleRobot, the automated sampling software have let it be known that SampleRobot V 1.14 is now available for download. Egosys Inc. (ESI) is responsible for wordwide distribution of the boxed version. The boxed version will be available mid of July 2005.
Behringer releases BCA2000 Windows XP driver Version 2
Behringer has announced the immediate availability of the BCA2000 Windows XP driver Version 2 for downloading, free-of-charge at the Behringer website. The B-CONTROL AUDIO BCA2000 is a high-speed USB 2.0 multi-channel audio/MIDI interface with multiple simultaneous digital and analog ins and outs, including instrument inputs, adjustable limiter and an extensive monitor control section.
