Silverspike R2 has been released for VST on Mac OS X
Silverspike R2 has been released for VST on Mac OS X. It has been tested with all major audio software including Cubase SX, Ableton Live and Logic Pro (using fxpansion’s VST/AU adapter). R2’s high quality reverberation at low CPU consumption is finally available for the Mac.
McDSP Announces a new LE Plug-in line
Beginning May 9th McDSP will be shipping LE versions of FilterBank, CompressorBank, and Chrome Tone, each for $195 (USD). The LE versions are RTAS/AS only, Mac OS X and Windows XP. In all other aspects, the LE line operates identically to the full line. Presets created in LE versions are readable by the full versions. Sessions using the LE versions will restore on TDM systems with the TDM versions, and vice versa.
The LE versions have a subset of the total number of configurations available in each full version product.

WWAYM Team announces a competition – You get a mixdown. You have to show your mastering skills by optimizing it to 0 dB. The result must be as loud as possible but with taste. Quality is your goal. You can use any software or hardware except WWAYM Dynamix to achive the best result. The only condition is that the used software/hardware must be legal because winners will have to explain the chain they used.
Before the winner announcement WWAYM will reproduce the winner’s work by using only WWAYM Dynamix to demonstrate the value of the plugin.
Winners will be chosen by WWAYM’s jury.

Muse Research announces Receptor v1.2 Update
