UnderTone Audio MPEQ-1 available for pre-order
Undertone have announced a new production run of their rackunit EQ, the UTA MPEQ-1. This run of the unit features slight modifications on appearance and sound. The first run of MPEQ-1s were essentially prototypes and required a handful of modifications to the PCBs. All of those modifications are now built into the design of the PCBs, so the units have a cleaner, more finished look inside as well.

Delora gbRemote 2.0 app for Garageband Remote Control
Harmony Systems announced the worldwide availability of Delora gbRemote 2.0, an application for the iPhone or iPod touch that functions as a remote controller for the Apple GarageBand music application for the Mac. This major version upgrade brings iOS7 styling and support, as well as significant feature additions. gbRemote is a complementary product to the Delora gbTouch for GarageBand app for the iPad, which now also supports iOS7.

Steinberg have announced that they have enhanced their UR28M and UR824 USB audio interfaces with a comprehensive firmware update which adds several new features and improvemnets. This newly released firmware update for UR28M and UR824 USB audio interfaces boasts DSP-based guitar amp effects, VST 3 effects bundle, class-compliant mode for connectivity with iPads, loopback option for internet live streaming and a free version of Steinberg’s latest Cubase AI music production software.

Producertech Ableton UK Training Weekends starting november
The Producertech team are excited to announce the first of many live teaching events, starting in November with 2 Ableton Live weekends by certified trainer Rob Jones. These weekends, one for Beginners and one for Advanced level users, include 2 full days of training on Ableton software and music production in general, as well as instruction on Ableton’s control surface Push, free online courses and £100 worth of samples from Loopmasters.

Arturia re-creates Oberheim SEM module for the iPad – iSEM
The Oberheim SEM was one of the world’s first self-contained synthesizer modules. Last week we showed you the leaked advertisement of a new line of Minifoogers, so we kinda knew they were coming soon. And today Moog acknowledged the rumours by introducing … the new Minifoogers. A series of compact – easy to use stomp boxes designed primarily for use with electric guitar and bass. Each Minifooger is housed in a rugged cast aluminum enclosure and features a 100% analog signal path, true bypass design, optional battery power, and a single expression pedal input providing hands-free control of one specified parameter within each unit.
